DeMontrond Automotive Group are family-owned and operated automobile dealerships with a rich tradition of attention to customer needs and desires.  Founded in 1953, our vehicles are backed with over 51 years of industry experience. 

DeMontrond Buick first opened on Kirby Drive in 1953.  However, the DeMontrond family was not new to the automobile business, even in these early years.  George DeMontrond, Jr. was trained by his father-in-law in the family dealership established in the small town of Waxahachie, Texas in 1940.  In those early years, George and his young wife Betty worked hard to establish their new business in the growing city of Houston. 

In the late 1970's the dealership was moved to its present location in North Houston.  The business grew under the direction of George DeMontrond, Jr. then selling Buick and Peugeot automobiles and several brands of motor homes.  Under the leadership of George DeMontrond III,  the Automotive Group has grown from the original Buick dealership to a multi-line dealer offering Buick, HUMMER, Kia, Suzuki, Volkswagen, Volvo, Toyota, Scion, Cadillac, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Chevrolet and a RV Division offering many brands of motor homes and trailers.
